Eligibility

  • To be considered for the International Leading Tomorrow Award:
  • You must be an international student who will enroll for a college education study in Canada with a Canadian study permit.
  • Must graduate or have recently graduated from a recognized upper secondary school.
  • You must be applying for your first university degree. i.e. Must be seeking to advance into a higher college education learning system for the first time.
  • Must meet the UBC admission requirements, including general and grade-specific requirements and the English Language Admission Standard.
  • Must demonstrate superior academic performance (at least an average of A or an equivalent standard) and leadership potential.
  • It must come from a region of the world torn by war, politically unstable or economically disadvantaged.
  • Must have achieved academic excellence in difficult circumstances and do not have financial means from your family or other sources to obtain post-secondary education in your own country (because it is not available or cannot be obtained) or outside of your country (because it is inaccessible).

Applicants should submit their applications by the stated deadline – December 1, 2018.

Submit your award application and complete the online application for admission to UBC before December 1, 2018. You must meet the UBC English language admission requirement by January 31, 2019.
